Online Pet Stores

Pets like dogs, fish, birds are animals that we normally keep for company, protective measures, enjoyment, and amusement.

The most common pets are dogs, cats, some types of birds, a wide variety of fish and some exotic animals such as various forms of reptiles, tortoises, lizards, snakes, iguanas, etc.

But, where do you go when you want to acquire a new pet? Where do turn to when you are looking for your pet’s favourite dish? Where do you take your hairy, wet or even flying companion when he needs some medical care? There is only one answer for all these questions: Your nearby Pet Store.

In general, you are the one who takes care of your pet and the one who accompanies him to the store to fulfil any of the previously mentioned tasks. Sometimes you may be a bit tired, it may be raining, or even snowing, and so taking your pet to the store may become the least favourite of chores, the number 100th priority.

Now, what would you say if I told you that you can do all these things, have all these services ready for you, only on click away? This is no longer a problem. Now you have plenty of pet stores available for you at a click of your mouse (and I am not referring to your hairy buddy).

Online stores are now accessible via internet, all over the country, in every state, city or town. They may even offer services for horses, wild birds and these newly accepted reptile pets.

The services offered range from the delivery of food, toys, hygienical appliances, exclusive items, gidgets and gadgets, collars, control supplies; to grooming, location of pet hotels, training, daily cares, banfield, day camps or even adoptions. If you have a fat dog, in some online pet stores you can find food for these kind of dogs. If you have a dog vomiting, also on pet stores you can find medication for them.

They also provide store locators, to find the one you should call, nearer your home address. Most of them offer incredibly good prices, most of the times unbeatable when compared to the regular pet store you may find round the corner.

They take telephone as well as e-mail orders, customer support and important discounts if your refer a friend or relative.

A mixture of the old Mastiff and the English bulldog, Boxers are a breed of dogs that have become particularly famous for their appearance and different uses.

Their German ancestors made the breed of hunting dogs that has been developed through the centuries. Specially used for the hunting of bears, boars and deers, they used to surround the pray and grab up to their owners arrived. By the end of the 19th century, the breed was presented in different parts of Europe and in the United States. The breed was recognized as such around the year 1915 by the AKC (American Kennel Club).

Its name is supposed to derive from the particular position these animals took when fighting. They get up on their feet and “boxed” with its fronts paws. Quite an unusual posture for a canine.

The adult boxer weighs around 70 lbs. at the most, the female is no higher than 23 inches and the male no taller than 25 inches. Maltese Puppies

Is there anything in the world as cute as a puppy? With its warm bellies and wet noses? With its short legs and long ears? I do not think there is. But if you are not yet with me, if you do not agree completely, I will give you some more reasons.

Maltese dogs are famous for their glossy, long white hair, that when appropriately brushed may even shine, his body is quite small but he has a distinguishable attitude.

He is a cautious, but at the same time, attentive animal. He is on the alert and does not hesitate to come into action when necessary. At the same time, it is a family dog, affective, caring, specially good for older kids, since very small kids may make him intolerant.

Because of their size they are also convenient for families wanting to adopt a first dog in apartments. It is recommendable to ask beforehand about the special cares he may need there.

His temperament is quite stable. It may be active or have a stormy outburst, and you will see him running through the house. Due to their small size these dogs had a quite negative reputation for being noisy. What may happen is that as they are protective of their family, they may try to scare other dogs by barking at them if they feel threatened.

Maltese puppies are so pretty that there are even web pages of fans all around the globe. They even gather and share pictures of these lovely creatures, or as they want to call them, friends.

There are organisations that occasionally present puppies for different competitions, such as the show ring, field, home and obedience ring. These organisations and Maltese dog breeders having web pages that show these puppies and their pedigree. So, beforehand, you should have the certificates their parents were given, and you can also view the little fellows before deciding on buying one of them. Or you can just simply enjoy the view, and look at the photos showing these wonderful creatures at different ages, with different colours and expressions.

Some of these pages, even sell the puppies, but not until they are 8 weeks old. This is because the puppies need to be mature enough before going out, apart from vaccines and special care, they have to develop and show they are healthy to walk out in the world.

Is there anything in the world as cute as a puppy? With its warm bellies and wet noses? With its short legs and long ears? I do not think there is. But if you are not yet with me, if you do not agree completely, I will give you some more reasons.

Besides their tenderness, charisma, and lovely features, these dogs have some great qualities that will make them even more cute.

These famous dog, generally remembered for its cartoon version in the cartoon saga Scooby-Doo, are often referred to as the Apollo of Dogs.

Great Danes are usually used as therapy dogs, so apart from the habitually known abilities as guardians, these dogs also serve the purpose of helping people with different disabilities.

Their height and weight differ from one different club to another. There are six coat colours accepted for this type of dogs: Fawn, Brindle, Blue, Black, Harlequin and Mantle.

Great Danes are daring, sociable and trustworthy, and contrary to what many people think, they are not aggressive. They are intelligent, protective, and loyal to their owners, therefore they are used as guardians.
